ECO DEVELOPMENTS SIAM (ECO)


ECO Developments Siam was established in January, 2004, by Managing Director, Peter Jones, with the intention of creating a development company to design and build quality, affordable property in Thailand’s major tourist destinations.
 
The intention of the company is to focus on sustainable development practices in order to safe guard the environment in which ECO operates - A balance between design and nature.

ECO has just launched the first of 5 projects on the resort island of Koh Samui;

The Trees – Chong Mon, consisting of 9 Pool Villas.

Further projects are being launched progressively including:

The Elements – Chong Mon Beach, consisting of 13 x 4 bedroom Town Houses;

Seaview – Maenam, consisting of 8 x 3 bedroom Town Houses; and

Infinity Villas – Ban Tailing Nam, consisting of 7 x 3 bedroom Pool Villas.

The “ECO” Team

Managing Director, Peter Jones is supported by Thai Director, Maliwan Kanchanarotphan, a native of Surat Thani Province. Her key role with ECO is liaison with local authorities in order to ensure that our projects are secure and that development proceeds in accordance with local laws and regulations.

Director Chris Womby, RICS is responsible for construction and project management. Chris has worked in a number of locations around the world and on some well known projects such as the “Burj Al Arab”, Dubai. His experience ensures that the high standards we are aiming for are achieved and professional practices maintained. Chris is also responsible for ECO’s adherence to green building practices in line with the company’s commitment to the environment.

Sales & Marketing Manager (Australasia) Tracey McGuinn-Charleson has spent thirteen years working in property development and sales on Queensland’s Gold Coast.  During this time Tracey has been involved intimately with the entire process of both sales and development. Tracey is a licensed and qualified real estate agent and will assist with operations and sales into Australia and operate in Australia in this capacity on behalf of ECO.

Australian Market Consultant Shaun Darcy - proprietor of Raine & Horne , Palm Beach, Queensland. Shaun will assist with sales & marketing in Australia and provide in country support to Sales & Marketing in Thailand.

Sales & Marketing Manager (South East Asia) Wayne Stones has been with ECO for one year now gearing up our Sales and Marketing team in Thailand. Wayne has a lifetime of experience in sales and his expertise and professional dedication is exemplary.

The Sales and Marketing Team

ECO are gearing up to commence sales with the assistance of “Raine & Horne Australia”; a real estate chain with agents throughout Australia, the region and the World. ECO will be focusing on the Australian marketplace, as well as Hong Kong, Dubai, Europe and the UK. It is our intention to offer well priced, quality investment properties in South East Asia to the Australian market and beyond.


The Management Team

Raine & Horne Property Management – Thailand will provide property management, sales and marketing, juristic management and upkeep. Operated by HMS & PMS Asia Pacific, they will ensure that the properties are managed professionally and maintained to the highest standard, in the interest of the owner. They will also ensure that the properties are marketed globally to secure high occupancy levels, thereby maximizing the income returns to the owner.

Summary

ECO have completed the display suites at “Billabong Beach Club – Koh Samui ” and memberships to this exclusive club are now available.

ECO is also associated with the “Nasuta – Fishermans Village, Koh Samui” development, currently under construction, which combines 42 apartments above 23 retail and restaurant units in a plaza style surrounding. All 42 apartments are sold already.

At present, ECO is commencing construction of a display home – A three Bedroom Private Pool Villa in a tropical garden setting.

It is the intention of ECO to go on to develop further resort style projects in other tourist destinations around Thailand and possibly the region.
